Benzaldehyde is a colourless liquid with an odour similar to almonds. The chemical and structural formulas of Benzaldehyde are C7H6O and C6H5CHO.

It is used to produce almond flavouring that can be used in many different food products.

Benzaldehyde can be extracted from a lot of natural sources like apricots and above mentioned almonds.
